Orange Chia Pudding

Orange Chia Pudding

Made with fresh oranges and thickened with chia seeds, this simple recipe creates a naturally sweet pudding. It's quick to prepare and perfect for breakfast, afternoon snacks, or a light dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Oranges peeled with all the white pith removed
  • Maple syrup or your preferred sweetener to taste (optional)
  • 2 - 3 Tbsp Chia seeds

Instructions
 

  • Place the peeled oranges into the Thermomix bowl and blend 30 sec / Speed 8, or until completely smooth.
  • Taste and add your preferred sweetener if desired. Mix 5 sec / Speed 4.
  • Pour the orange purée into a bowl.
  • Stir through the chia seeds until well combined.
  • Leave for 5 minutes, then stir again to prevent the chia seeds from clumping together.
  • Pour into a shallow container or serving dishes.
  • Refrigerate for 2–4 hours, or until set.

Notes

Tips

For a Spoonable Pudding

Use 3 Tbsp chia seeds. Once chilled, the mixture will have a thick, creamy consistency that's perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a healthy snack.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
